The front porch of the Kaafal cottage beckons you to just curl up with your favourite book or take a nap. However, if you want to explore the property, you may take a stroll in the jungle. Our caretaker will point out the local flora and fauna and kids can even pick fruits from the trees in the season.
You can go on picnics nearby. We will guide you in the right direction. We can provide you with a picnic basket. But if you would prefer a little more adventure, you may even cook at the picnic spot.
If you would like to explore the city, Ranikhet has three bazaars- Kinari, Khadi and the main Sadar bazaar. You will get an idea of the way of life here by strolling through the bazaars. You may shop for woolens at the Kumaon Regimental Centre’s shop.

Ranikhet Golf Course:Ranikhet Golf Course is one of the highest golf courses of Asia, located 5 kms from the main city. It is a 9-hole course making it one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet. The awe-inspiring greens have served as location for the hit 1970 Bollywood films ‘Kati Patang’, ‘ Dil Deke Dekho’, ‘Shikaar’ etc. You can even try your hand at golf as the club provides membership plans for outsiders as well.
