By Car:
If you feel up to driving the 370 km distance to Ranikhet, you may bring your own vehicle. The roads are good along the national highway and you will enjoy your drive once you leave the city behind.
As you approach the Kaafal cottage, you may find it a bit difficult to negotiate the unmetalled driveway to the cottage. Not to worry… our caretaker will bring up your vehicle for you or you may leave it parked right there and walk up to the cottage.
By Train:
Kathgodam is the last railhead from where you begin the ascent to the hills. Ranikhet Express is an overnight train that departs from the Old Delhi railway station at 10.30 pm and reaches Kathgodam at 6 am the next morning. You could also take the New Delhi-Kathgodam Shatabdi from New Delhi railway station. It leaves at 6 am and reaches Kathgodam at 11.40 am.
From the picturesque Kathgodam station, you can hire a taxi for the three-hour ride to Ranikhet or ask us to arrange for one.
By Bus
Overnight Volvo buses depart from Anand Vihar Bus Terminal and reach Ranikhet the next morning. We can have you picked up from the Ranikhet bus station.

Ranikhet Golf Course:Ranikhet Golf Course is one of the highest golf courses of Asia, located 5 kms from the main city. It is a 9-hole course making it one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet. The awe-inspiring greens have served as location for the hit 1970 Bollywood films ‘Kati Patang’, ‘ Dil Deke Dekho’, ‘Shikaar’ etc. You can even try your hand at golf as the club provides membership plans for outsiders as well.
